Fuzzy Based Control of Induction Motor for A Four Switch Inverter Topology
Abstract: The paper proposes an FLC scheme for a four switch inverter fed induction motor emulating the six switch inverter operation. An induction motor torque control strategy is proposed. The paper proposes a three phase inverter using only four switches rather than six switches, which is conventional approach. By using lesser number of switches the switching losses are reduced to a great extent. . Steady state operation of the induction motor is maintained by PI and fuzzy logic controllers.
