A Specific Training Module for Progressive Reaction Ability in advanced-Level Kabaddi Players: A Detailed Framework
Abstract: This research paper provides a comprehensive and detailed framework for a specific training module aimed at enhancing the progressive reaction ability of advanced-level Kabaddi players. Moving beyond the conventional focus on simple physical reflexes, this module targets the intricate cognitive and motor processes essential for elite performance. It is grounded in the principles of perceptual-motor learning, selective attention, and decision-making under pressure. The module is structured into three distinct, progressive phases: Phase 1: Foundational Cognitive-Motor Drills; Phase 2: Situational Tactical Application Drills; and Phase 3: Game-Based Integration and Fatigue Resistance Drills. Each phase includes detailed descriptions of drills, their specific objectives, and the underlying scientific rationale. The paper also provides a practical guide for module implementation and performance evaluation. This framework offers coaches and sports scientists a scientifically-backed, practical tool to systematically elevate a player's on-field intelligence, anticipation, and responsiveness, thereby providing a significant competitive advantage in the dynamic environment of Kabaddi.
