Challenges in Arabic-English Translation: A Study on EFL Students
Abstract: This study investigates lexical-semantic challenges faced by Moroccan EFL students in Arabic-English translation. Based on responses to a translation test, issues such as idiomatic expressions, euphemisms, collocations, and synonymy were identified. Findings reveal a need for enhanced pedagogical strategies to address cultural and lexical disparities, improving translation proficiency in academic settings.
