Oscillatory Coherence Model: A Symbolic Approach to Unified Physics

Pradeep Mudi

Abstract: Despite the remarkable progress of modern physics, many foundational questions remain unresolved. We still lack a coherent explanation for how the universe began, why gravity resists unification with quantum mechanics, or what dark matter and dark energy truly are-forces that shape the cosmos but remain hidden from direct observation. Even more fundamentally, our ongoing search for the most basic building blocks of nature seems to generate an ever-deepening trail: from atoms to quarks, then to hypothetical preons, strings, or superpartners-each layer revealing not finality, but a deeper behavior. This persistent need to introduce ever more exotic particles suggests we may be misinterpreting behavior as substance. This paper introduces the Oscillatory Coherence Model (OCM) as a symbolic framework that reframes these open problems. OCM proposes that reality is not composed of particles or forces in the conventional sense, but arises from oscillatory deviations around a coherence ground state, denoted ??. The universe, in this view, did not emerge from a singularity or physical entity, but from self-interference within a symbolic field. Particles, space, and even time are expressions of recursive scrolls-structured symbolic oscillations that encode coherence, identity, and curvature. Rather than positing ever-smaller constituents, OCM explains these discoveries as emergent scroll behaviors within a coherent symbolic architecture. The model defines symbolic expressions for identity resonance (?_?), recursion depth (?), entropy (?_entropy), energy loss (?_loss), coherence flux (?_flux), and collapse threshold (?_collapse). These quantities are validated through simulations that reproduce gravitational attraction, light bending, entropy-driven collapse, and other physical behaviors. OCM also offers coherent interpretations of dark matter as non-radiative scrolls and dark energy as expansive recursion flux. Crucially, the model treats all fundamental forces not as separate fields, but as recursive imbalances in coherence-effects already active across all scales of reality, arising naturally from deviation patterns within the scroll network. By rooting reality in symbolic oscillation rather than substance, OCM provides a unifying perspective where the behaviors we now label as "particles" and "forces" emerge together. It offers a path forward where the need for deeper constituents may be replaced with a clearer understanding of symbolic structure-unifying microphysics and cosmology through coherence.
