Abstract: This research focused on building a learner - centered program aimed at improving vocabulary and reading comprehension among college students experiencing challenges in these areas. By integrating quantitative assessments and qualitative insights through a convergent parallel mixed - methods design, the study gathered a rich understanding of the program?s effectiveness. Students underwent structured interventions involving explicit vocabulary instruction and guided reading practices.
