A Study on Challenges and Factors Influencing E-Learning System during Pandemic of Private School Students in Chengalpattu District, Tamilnadu
Abstract: This study examines the changing challenges and key factors influencing e-learning systems for private school students in Chengalpattu District, Tamil Nadu, within the post-pandemic educational context. Although the phase of emergency remote teaching has passed, a lasting transition toward technology-enhanced hybrid learning has taken place. Utilizing a quantitative, cross-sectional approach, data were gathered through an online questionnaire administered to 312 students, divided into urban (n=202) and rural (n=110) groups. Findings reveal that while overall infrastructural access has improved, a persistent "quality divide" remains. Notably, 71% of rural students continue to face unstable internet connections, which hampers their ability to participate in synchronous activities.
