The narrative of Mimi, where a young woman becomes a surrogate mother for a foreign couple, underscores surrogacy?s emotional and ethical dimensions, challenging societal norms and legal frameworks. This piece examines surrogacy?s representation in films, shedding light on ethical dilemmas, societal challenges, and the profound human desire for parenthood. Through an analysis of historical practices and cinematic portrayals, the article offers a comprehensive understanding of surrogacy?s impact on individuals and society, emphasizing the need for empathy and ethical consideration in the evolving landscape of reproductive technologies.
