Abstract: The aim of this review study is to report the state of current literature and recommendationsfor the lithium disilicate glass-ceramic IPS e.Max. Science, mechanical andoptical properties of the material were reviewed as well as, the material performance and indications of use. This paper provides a brief historical overview,summary of current literature, and clinical recommendationfor the use of IPS e.Max CAD in dental practice.
