Failure Mode Effect Analysis on Clinical Alarms
Abstract: The aim of Clinical Risk management is mainly to improve the quality of care that is to be provided by the healthcare organizations to assure the safety of patients. Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) is a process used to identify all potential failures and their causes before any further service is provided. It is an analytical method which is used for risk assessment which seeks to identify all the possible risks as well as the causes and effects that are associated with it.
