Model Development in Stimulating Entrepreneurship Motivation for Former Indonesian Migrant Workers in East Java

Abstract: This research aims to apply the model of entrepreneurial motivation by combining stimulation with emphasis on the utilization of local area to the former Indonesian migrant workers (TKI) that has returned from overseas and has no plans to back off out of the country. This research was conducted in the area of East Java. This type of research is a qualitative study using Participatory Action Research. Where the method of data collection was done by using the method of observation and in-depth interviews to key informants and other research subjects, in addition to the data collection is done by using a Focused Group Discussion (FGD) and workshops with subjects and other parties concerned. As a follow up of the results, the researchers conducted a workshop with stakeholders will provide guidance to the group of subjects who are involved to realize the knowledge and skills that have been acquired to significantly develop commercial real effort to harness the potential of the existing local area.
