Abstract: Trichotillomania is a disorder characterized by noticeable hair loss due to recurrent failure to resist impulses to pullout hair. It is undergoing a conceptual and no so logical re - evaluation. Scarce literature is available about this condition when it strikes in early childhood. In this report, we describe a 4 year old girl who presented with plucking of hair since a year resulting in a bald patch over her right scalp. Also, how pharmacological and behavioural modification together helped in improving the condition.
