Torsional Effect on Multi-Storeyed Building on Regular and Irregular Shape of Building with and without Infill by Using P-Delta Analysis
Shaikh Salman, D. H. Tupe, Dr. G. R. Gandhe
Abstract: Torsional effect on structure is the modified seismic response of building which caused several damages or collapse of structure. P-Delta effect are the second order effects which increase lateral displacement in which the lateral displacement can be caused by wind or seismically induced inertial forces in the high rise structure. The increase in number of storey in the structure directly proportion to the delta effect in the structure. The present work concerned with the Comparative Study On Behaviour of Torsional effect on multi-storeyed building on regular and irresgular shape of building with and withiut infill on High Rise structure With consideration of Non-linear P-Delta Analysis. The present paper shows the study overview of different research works to be done in high rise structure for analysing the torsional effect on structure by using P-Delta analysis.
