Abstract: Objective Peri-prosthetic tibia fracture after knee arthroplasty is not a very common complication in the arthroplasty population. We present one such case treated at our hospital. Method the fracture was classified as per classification proposed by Felix as Type III-A and the fracture treated with locking plate. Result The patient is faring well in short term follow up. Conclusion Felix classification is a useful tool in decision making on treatment of periprosthetic tibia fracture and stability of prosthesis is deciding factor. However, a long term follow up with larger sample size is needed to know the clinical, radiological and functional outcome as well as to know the complications like implant failure, non-union or re-fracture.
