Abstract: The aeromagnetic data of the Mamfe Sedimentary Basin (MSB) and a part of the East of Nigeria was used to carry out the main features of that study area. To achieve this goal, we have used firstly, the horizontal gradient of the total magnetic intensity field reduced to the pole and the analytical signal of the total magnetic intensity field for the determination of the magnitude maxima of them, and finally the contacts directions deducted by Eulers solutions. The suggested structural map of the study area presents the fault system of the zone, and the positions of the intrusions of the igneous bodies that can help in an orientation for a geophysical investigation. It also justifies the complexity of the tectonics of the region and reveals geological structures that the previous methods could not identify.
