Abstract: Problems of the patients with removable dentures usually are poor adhesion and stability, pain, wounds, difficult adaptation to the new dentures etc. Use of soft relining materials (SRM) can overcome these difficulties to some extent. The problems with the soft relining materials are usually connected with odor, hardening of the material, staining, but the problem with the bond between the two materials is of primary importance. This is the major obstacle, that makes a lot of clinicians to use them in their practices reluctantly. There are many factors that contribute to the bond strength between the materials. Their acquaintance is very important to overcome the disadvantages of SRM.
