Effects of Screen Time on Toddlers: A Psychological Study
Abstract: This research proposal explores the psychological effects of screen time on toddlers aged 1-3 years. With the increasing integration of digital media into early childhood, concerns have emerged regarding its influence on cognitive, behavioral, and socio-emotional development. This study aims to investigate these effects through a mixed-method approach involving parent-reported questionnaires, developmental assessments, and behavioral observations. The findings are expected to inform parents, educators, and policymakers about the implications of screen exposure and the potential benefits of structured, educational media use.
