Abstract: The entire population of the world somehow depends upon forests. However, this dependence is not similar everywhere, while the developed countries are more concerned with climatic change, maintenance of bio-diversity and recreational opportunities, the developing countries primarily depend to get food, fuelwood, fodder for their sustenance. It is very urgent to find out the ways and means to manage sustainably in the face of current pressures and to augment the raw material production.
