Abstract: A family relationship involves interaction and emotional bond between all members in a family. It usually involves living under one roof, communicating, taking care of oneself, solving challenges, continuing family traditions and giving each member a sense of belonging. Happiness is an emotional state of well-being, narrowly defined as good things that happen to a person at a given moment, or more broadly, a positive evaluation of his life and achievements, i.e. a subjective feeling. Quality of Life as the subjective evaluation of one's perception of their reality relative to their goals as observed through the lens of the culture and value system. 150 young adults of age ranging from 17 to 23 were selected by using Convenience Sampling method. The scales used were Brief Family Relationship scale (1994) by Ting Fok C C. et.al, Subjective Happiness Scale (1999) by Lyubomirsky, S. and Lepper, H.S. and Quality of Life Scale (2003) by Burchkardt, C.S and Anderson, K.L. Pearson correlation, independent sample t test and Multivariate Analysis of Variance were used to analyse the data. Results showed that Family relationship, Subjective happiness and Quality of life have significant relationship. Also, it was found that there is no significant difference between Family relationship, Subjective happiness and Quality of life based on gender and birth order.
