Abstract: Background: Excessive social media use has been associated with poor sleep quality, increased perceived stress, and reduced emotional stability among young adults. This study examined these relationships. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted among 355 young adults aged 18-25 years. Participants completed the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI), Perceived Stress Scale (PSS), Social Media Usage Questionnaire, and Emotional Stability Scale. Pearson correlation and multiple regression analyses were performed. Results: Higher social media usage was significantly associated with poorer sleep quality, greater perceived stress, and lower emotional stability.
