Recurrence Relations for Marginal and Joint Moment Generating Functions of Generalized Order Statistics from Two-Parameter Exponential Distribution

Abstract: In this paper we give some recurrence relations satisfied by marginal and joint moment generating functions of generalized order statistics from a two-parameter exponential distribution. These recurrence relations would hence enable one to compute all the higher order moments of the generalized order statistics from those of the lower order in a simple recursive way.
