Intelligent Classroom Assistant Using Face Recognition and AI
Abstract: The Intelligent Classroom Assistant is an AI-based system designed to improve classroom management and support the teaching- learning process. The system integrates several intelligent modules including face recognition for automated attendance tracking, assignment generation, lecture summarization, and presentation feedback analysis. Traditional classroom monitoring requires significant manual effort and is often time-consuming. The proposed system addresses these challenges by applying computer vision, natural language processing, and machine learning techniques to automate classroom activities and generate useful academic insights. Developed using Python, OpenCV, Django, and MySQL, the system improves efficiency, reduces administrative workload, and enhances overall classroom productivity and student engagement.
