Exploring the Theology of Mercy through the Teaching of Pope Francis
Abstract: This article reflects on the theological concept of divine mercy as presented by Pope Francis in his book The Name of God is Mercy. It examines key biblical and doctrinal perspectives on mercy, the role of the Church as a vehicle of God's compassion, and the moral implications of mercy in human conduct. Through scriptural references and religious traditions, the paper encourages a deeper understanding of mercy as central to Christian identity and spiritual growth.
