Analytical Investigation of Solute Dispersion in Combined Free-Forced Convective Flow with Wall Absorption and Bulk Chemical Reaction
Abstract: This study presents an analytical investigation of solute dispersion phenomena in a fully developed laminar free and forced convective flow between two parallel plates, incorporating the simultaneous effects of wall absorption and bulk chemical reaction. The Mei multi-scale homogenization method is employed to derive closed-form analytical solutions of the convective?diffusion equation under a uniform temperature gradient along the channel walls.
