The Transformative Role of Financial Technology (FinTech) in Modern Financial Management

Abstract: Financial Technology (FinTech) has become a defining force in reshaping contemporary financial management. Its integration into banking, investment, accounting, and risk management has significantly improved efficiency, transparency, and financial accessibility. This study explores the influence of FinTech innovations such as digital payments, robo-advisors, artificial intelligence, blockchain, and digital lending on both corporate and personal finance. The paper also evaluates the challenges associated with cybersecurity, regulatory ambiguity, data privacy, and technology-driven biases. The findings highlight that FinTech is not only a technological advancement but a fundamental shift requiring financial managers to adopt new skills, practices, and governance structures.
