N. Sai Kuppuraj

Abstract: The tragedy of stroke lies not only in Its sudden onset but also in the silence that surrounds its warning signs. It is evident that up to 70% of strokes could be avoided through the timely management of Hypertension, diabetes, atrial fibrillation, and cholesterol. This suggests that prevention, rather than cure, must be the cornerstone of national health strategies. The Article reflects on the unpredictability of the life and the abruptness with which a stroke can alter it, emphasizing the 2025 world stroke Day them-Every Minute counts. When a stroke strikes, time becomes the most critical resource; every passing minute translates into lost brain function Drawing from public health campaigns and global advocacy by the world strokes organization, this discussion underscores how early recognition, Prompt medical response, and life style adjustments can save countless lives in my opinion cultivating a culture of preparedness-through education, health checks, and responsive infrastructure- remains the path toward reducing the heavy toll of stoke in India and beyond.

Keywords: Stroke prevention, awareness, early recognition, Life style diseases, world stroke day
