Why Self-Medication Can Be Harmful- and How Homeopathy Offers a Safer Way
Abstract: Background: Self-medication is increasingly common due to easy drug availability and public misconception about safety. While it may provide temporary relief, it carries multiple risks. Homeopathy, with its individualized and minimal-dose approach, offers a safer, patient-centered alternative. Objective: To create awareness about the potential harms of self-medication and to highlight the safety and scientific rationale of individualized homeopathic care. Conclusion: Self-medication can delay diagnosis, cause adverse drug effects, and increase resistance. Individualized homeopathic treatment under qualified supervision provides a gentle and rational approach to healthcare.
