Ethan Lau, Isabella Hu, Erin Kim, Kiela King
Abstract: This study investigates the socioeconomic determinants of healthcare quality in the United States using advanced statistical and machine learning techniques, including regression models, Random Forests, and Neural Networks. By analyzing data from 2016 to 2019, the research identifies key predictors of life expectancy and evaluates the efficacy of various models in capturing the complex interplay of socioeconomic factors. The findings provide critical insights for policymakers aiming to improve healthcare outcomes.
