This paper explores the U.S.s position in the global semiconductor market, analyzes the potential impact of the CHIPS Act, and evaluates investment strategies that could enhance domestic production. A high growth investment scenario, focusing on advanced packaging and leading-edge fabrication technologies, is proposed to meet rising technological demands, strengthen supply chain security, and maintain global competitiveness.
