Abstract: Rheumatic fever (RF) is an autoimmune, multiorgan inflammatory disease that occurs as a result of group A ?-hemolytic streptococcal infection in genetically susceptible individuals. Modern medicine uses Antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drugs in the treatment of RF whereas Homoeopathy can be a potential alternative in the treatment of RF without any adverse effects.
