Organizations must ensure robust security frameworks to prevent unauthorized access, data breaches, and regulatory violations. This paper explores the risks associated with PII storage in cloud environments and outlines mitigation strategies, including encryption, access controls, and compliance measures. By examining real - world cases and industry best practices, this study provides actionable insights for organizations to secure sensitive data while leveraging the cloud?s scalability and flexibility.
