Effect of Structured Teaching Programme on Knowledge Regarding Anti-Tobacco Measures among Adolescent Boys
Abstract: Adolescent tobacco use and subsequent health problems are a major concern today.The increasing burden of tobacco use can be to a greater extend of being unaware of its ill effects. Therefore this study was conducted to assess the effect of structured teaching programme on knowledge regarding anti-tobacco measures among adolescent boys.Methods: Quasi-experimental research design was used for the study. Two hundred adolescent boys of class VIII and IX were selected using multistage sampling technique. Baseline variables and knowledge score of adolescent boys on anti-tobacco measures were assessed using baseline proforma and structured knowledge questionnaire.
