Network Classification for an Enterprise

Abstract: Infrastructure Network lays the foundation for an organization to perform its critical business functions. Most of the time we refer network as just simple connectivity to other resources but actually it can be classified into different categories based on the function. Let us try to understand what are the different types of networks that function in an enterprise and the types of devices that function in different layers in an OSI model.
