Gap Solitons in Anharmonic Diatomic lattice
Abstract: we consider a one - dimensional nonlinear diatomic lattice with two different masses (M & gt, m). We find the exact soliton solutions in the forbidden frequency range ( band gap) between the longitudinal acoustic and optical phonon branches by coupled wave method
