Ground State Energies of a Sextic Anharmonic Oscillator Including Quartic Anharmonicity

Abstract: The ground state energy eigenvalues of a sextic anharmonic oscillator including quartic anharmonicity are obtained using the Ginsberg-Montroll method. Numerical values are calculated using Mathematica for different values of the anharmonic coefficients.
