Study of Switching Transients on EHV AC Transmission Line
Abstract: Discussion is presented of the results obtained from MATLAB simulation of 735 KV transmission line which was conducted to find out switching surge transients. The Aim of this paper is to study different switching overvoltages and find out worst case among all which is helpful for economic insulation design of power system.
