Abstract: This study is focused on the perception and understanding of the psychopath, in modern Greece as well as the historical division between normal and abnormal. In this way madness can be the way of the cultural construction of every different Other. Influenced by the recent financial crisis and its effects to psychiatry, it is interesting to see the experience of mental ill patients.
