Examining the Effect of Communication Style on Romantic Relationship Satisfaction in Adults
Abstract: The quality and longevity of romantic relationships are fundamentally shaped by the communication patterns adopted by intimate partners. This study investigated the empirical impact of communication styles on romantic relationship satisfaction among adults. Utilizing a quantitative, cross-sectional survey design, data were gathered from a sample of 171 adults (M age range = 25?34 years; 67.3% male, 32.7% female; 57.9% married) associated with JAIN (Deemed-to-be-University) through purposive sampling. Standardized self-report questionnaires measuring constructive communication patterns and relationship satisfaction were administered via an online survey platform. Descriptive statistics, Pearson bivariate correlation, and simple linear regression analyses were conducted.
