Theoretical Investigation of the Surface Properties of the Superheavy Nuclei Z = 126
Abstract: We have thoroughly investigated the surface characteristics, including symmetric energy, neutron pressure, and symmetry energy curvature coefficient, from the proton to neutron drip-lines for a hypothetical super heavy nucleus Z = 126. We use relativistic mean field model with well known force parameter like NL3 and NLB in our calculations for finite nuclei. The relativistic mean field densities use as input in the Coherent Density Fluctuation Model (CDFM) to calculate the surface properties of the system. Before determining the surface characteristics of the finite nuclei, the expected bulk properties like binding energy, charge radius and neutron skin thickness are calculated.
