Mentorship and Performance of Entrepreneurs in Manufacturing Firms in Anambra State
Abstract: The broad objective of this study is to determine the effect of mentorship on the performance of entrepreneurs in manufacturing firms in Anambra State. The specific objectives are to: determine the effect of knowledge - transfer mentorship on employee performance in manufacturing firms in Anambra State, and ascertain the effect of talent development mentorship on employee performance manufacturing firms in Anambra State. The study adopted a descriptive survey research design. A sample size of one hundred respondents was used out of one hundred entrepreneurs manufacturing companies in Anambra State. Data were collected through the questionnaire which was directly administered to the respondents. Regression analysis was employed to test the hypotheses and the results revealed that Knowledge transfer mentorship and talent development mentorship have significant effects on employee performance in manufacturing firms in Anambra State (hence p - value of the test statistic is less than alpha value (0.002
