Prevalence of NAFLD in Type-2 Diabetic Patients in Rural Population of Muzaffarnagar Region
Abstract: Background: Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is commonly associated with type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM). We carried out a prospective case-control study showing correlation of NAFLD in patients with type 2 DM and its connection with Insulin Resistance. Materials and Methods: Total 97 patient out of 100 patients of Type 2 DM attending Muzaffarnagar medical college and hospital completed the study and were evaluated using SPSS software version 12.
