Rights and Status of Police Organization in Modern India

Abstract: Modern world in the third milliennium come across a lot of struggles and skirmishes in the day to day life for the common people. Rights, invariably is an essential commodity which is always denied and delayed for human communities all along the different phases of civilization. In the ancient and medieval period as well due to the mode of governance denial of rights are not uncommon and people had no options but abide lest they may be punished. It is due to the French revolution which happened in 1789, democratic breakthrough struck the world civilization which heralded a new breathe for the entire human communities. More number of Nations was relieved from the colonial clutches and people respires the air of freedom.


Keywords: Be it as it may, among all the human associations Police organization is the authoritative group which come across unprecedented issues and challenges in the modernsocietyHierarchy, harassment, one-upmanship, partyaffiliation, leave demands, Vengeance and other similar harassments are the regular challenges they face in their profession Neutral bureaucracy is the option which was bolstered by the then prime minister of India Nehru for safeguarding the constitutional rights and other provisions Albeit of all the protective guards and measures police face enormous struggles in India which is the focus of this piece of research article which adopted Interview method in order to draw precise inferences The study confines with Nagai district, TamilnaduPolice staffs were categorized on the basis of religion, since religous classification on the prime variable, on the basis of which opinions were registered
