Prevalence of Anemia in Pregnancy: A Retrospective Study at Tertiary Care Hospital in Sivagangai, Tamilnadu, India
Abstract: Anemia in pregnancy is a major health problem with adverse maternal and foetal outcome worldwide specially, developing countries like India. The aim of the present study was to understand the prevalence of anemia among the pregnant women and its deleterious effects on pregnancy outcome.
