The Geological Heritage of Central High Atlas: an Asset for Integrated Geotourism (Case of Assif Melloul Crossing (Common Territorial of Anergui and Tillouguite) in the Province of Azilal; Beni Mellal-Khenifra-Region/Morocco)

Abstract: This article presents the results which were taken first inan inventory of geomorpho-sites. The latter was carried out in the rural communes of Anergui and Tillouguite in the Central High Atlas of Morocco. Its objective is to highlight the richness of the natural heritage (i. e. geological, geomorphological) and the landscape heritage of these territories in order to make them known for the general public as geological heritage. It also aims to reinforce the terms of protection, valorization and good management of these geo-morphosites to be integratedin sustainable development, thus offering new incentives and opportunities for sustainable tourism to become a pioneering front of geo-tourism.
