Simple Preparation of High Purity Potassium Nitrate

Abstract: A new idea and method are discussed in purification of potassium nitrate by adding mixture of potassium hydroxide or potassium carbonate. The results indicate increasing temperature can improve Ca2+ and Mg2+to precipitate completely.
