Acral Lentiginous Melanoma, Rare Form of Marjolin's Ulcer: A Case and Literature Review
Abstract: Marjolins ulcer is a cutaneous malignancy that previously traumatized and chronically inflammed. The incidence of Marjolins ulcer in acral lentiginous melanoma form is extremely low. We report the first Marjolins ulcer in our hospital, which developed from chronic wound 20 years after traumatic injury. Wide local excision was performed and it was diagnosed histopathologically as acral lentiginous melanoma.
