Abstract: Cocos nucifera (coconut) is a well-known plant used in the Indian system of medicine. Folklore medicine claims its uses in diabetes, diarrhea, cancer, etc. Coconut and its by-products have been used for centuries as culinary, cosmetic, and medicinal agents.
