Average Correlation and Regression Analysis of Water of River Pavana through the Section Flowing Between Bopodi to Pimpri Area
Abstract: The study was aimed to know water quality from analysis of physico-chemical characteristics of Pavana River, Pune from September 2016 to February 2017. Due to the increase in population and industrialization, there shall be a necessity to understand the present status of Pavana River. The experiment was carried out for three season i. e. Monsoon, Post-monsoon and Pre-monsoon. The water sample is collected from river as the depth changes. The physicochemical parameters such as as pH, DO, COD, BOD, Alkalinity, TDS, TSS, TS, Turbidity, Temperature has been studied during analysis. The objectives of this study is To analyze the characteristics of river water, To study and evaluate the pollutant severity, To identify the depth wise Dissolved Oxygen variation, To find possible effects on aquatic life due to variations, To make regression analysis of obtained results.
