Bayesian Estimation of the Parameter of Inverse ? Maxwell Distribution under SELF and Precautionary Loss Functions

Abstract: In this paper, we have discussed Bayesian estimation of the parameter of an Inverse Maxwell Distribution. Bayes estimators of the scale parameter of the Inverse Maxwell Distribution using quasi-prior under squared error, precautionary, entropy and another two loss functions have been obtained and the corresponding risk functions of these estimators relative to squared error loss function have also been calculated for the sake of comparison. The relevant graphs have been plotted.
