Preoperative Embolization of Hemangioblastomas
Abstract: Hemangioblastomas are benign and highly vascular tumors. The high morbidity and mortality rate is associated with uncontrolled hemorrhage during surgery. Preoperative embolization of these tumours may facilitate surgical treatment. The aim of this study is to share authors experience of embolization of hemangioblastomas before surgical resection.
