Abstract: We studied chest radiographs of 45 patients who presented during June 2015 to October 2016 at New civil hospital, Surat who had a high serum immunofluorescent assay titer for leptospirosis. Thirty five of 45 (77 %) patients had abnormal chest films. Nearly all of these patients had respiratory symptoms and needed oxygen therapy.40 of the 45 (65 %) had respiratory symptoms, but only 35/40 (87 %) had abnormal radiographs.23 of the 35 (65 %) and 20/35 (57 %) who had abnormal chest radiographs had coexisting impaired renal function or jaundice, respectively. There were 6/35 (17 %) patients who had abnormal chest radiographs without renal or liver impairment.
